On May 11, 2012, Brad Wenstrup was joined by U.S. Senator Rob Portman on a tour of Southwestern Ohio — Portman and Wenstrup visited with Ohioans to discuss the economy, jobs and the future direction of our nation.
The tour was highlighted by a series of event that engaged voters. There was a roundtable breakfast at Lake Manor Restaurant in Mt. Orab. Fifty supporters turned out for lunch in West Union at the Olde Wayside Inn where the two men spoke on lower taxes and less spending. They later visited Alley 21 in Hillsboro where Highland County Commissioner Shane Wilkins introduced them.
In all, they visited Brown, Adams, Scioto, Pike and Highland counties meeting with local business and community leaders.
Rob Portman said of Wenstrup:
“Brad will make a great Congressman and I look forward to working with him to help create the climate for new jobs in Southern Ohio.”
